Bindiya has been a media entrepreneur for over 2 decades, being amongst the first tribe of content creators for satellite TV in India. She started her career with Fremantle, and soon became one of the youngest producers in the company. That was followed by a stint with Star TV Networks, and then a deep dive into the first wave of the internet boom. Bindiya became the Creative Head for India's first live webcast and entertainment portal, Catch Us Live by Wizcraft Entertainment, and later with Immersive Television, a creative tech company that was a pioneer in 3D and 360 video in India. Then came a foray into producing big brand commercials and music videos. Post that, Bindiya set up her own media company Blue Mango Films, creating marquee shows and content for Discovery Channel, TLC, NatGeo, Zee and BBC, among others. Whilst, she continued to achieve critical acclaim & commercial success through advertising, television and large corporate campaigns for big brands like Google, Microsoft and Ford, she started using the power of media to highlight the human condition.
She used the audio-visual medium to create a positive impact on women and marginalized communities in rural India. Be it The Siddhis - India’s last African tribe, rural education, development, credit for farmers, water woes or crumbling monasteries, her work took her to many of the lesser known parts of the country. Her documentary “Monk from Komik” was showcased at Cannes and other film festivals and helped gather funds, food, clothing and restoration of the ancient monastery in the upper recesses of the Trans Himalayan cold desert. She was named among the most influential women in the world of TV at MIP in Cannes. She also entered the Limca Book of Records for Discovery Network's flagship Indian production 'The Great Indian Wedding' and for creating India’s first Digital Filmmaking workshop & Festival for Children. Bindiya is currently involved with the creation of disruptive video ventures in the art and tech space.
With 18 years of experience spread across advertising, live entertainment, television and the internet, Raj has literally “been there, done that”.
After numerous successful brand-building and marketing campaigns and big-ticket events, Raj decided to build a brand that specializes in creating radical, different and most importantly, good content for Television.
That’s when Blue Mango was born more a decade ago.
Having worked across diverse industries such as Power, Oil & Gas, Online Stock-trading, Events and Advertising, Riaz is instrumental in growing the brand Blue Mango across television, media houses, corporates and the digital space.
With a blend of marketing, communication and creative skills, he has been part of some memorable experiential marketing initiatives and ad campaigns. It does not hurt that films also happen to run in his veins.
With the talent and innate ability to work well in non-fiction filmmaking and reality programming, Delhi-based Ankit Ahuja has amassed dozens of television, commercial and corporate credits.
Among numerous projects, he has worked on reality series such as TLC’s ‘Living with a Superstar – Shah Rukh Khan’ that received special mentions across various categories at the Asian Television Awards 2010.
Avinash is the backbone of Blue Mango. In-depth knowledge of technology, hardware and software, along with expertise in animations and graphics, make him a terrific asset for the brand.
